In my aunt's Christmas Cracker was one of those annoying slips of paper with a bad joke on it and a random factoid. Bad joke was something about penguins. Random factoid said that the longest word you could make without repeating a letter was "UNCOPYRIGHTABLE" which seemed a bit disappointing to me: it's a bit of a crap word, after all. So I went and wrote a little program to check on that.
