Helen Newman Court Rules
1. Badminton and volleyball ALWAYS have priority over basketball during open gym hours on Court 2. BasketBall has priority on court 1.
2. The same sport (Volley Ball or Badminton) may have Court 2 for a maximum of 1.5 hours. Players must leave the court if others are waiting to play Volley Ball. Badminton players must rotate on the courts during their 1 1/2 hours of play. The clock starts for badminton as soon as a net goes up on court 2. For example, if two people who want to play badminton, arrive at 5:30 and put up one net, then all badminton players need to vacate the court at 7 p.m. if a volleyball group is waiting to play, even if two more badminton nets went up at 6:30.
3. On Saturdays from 10am - 5pm and on Tuesday evenings, badminton has priority over volleyball. On Sundays from noon - 7pm and on Wednesday evenings, volleyball has priority over badminton. All other times are on a first-come first-serve basis.
4. If there are only 2 badminton nets being used on Court 2, they must be set up side by side and basketball players may shoot at the opposite basket.

Does anyone else feel like it should end with one of those "If it's New Year's Day and Jim's playing badminton, what day is it, and what colour shoes is he wearing?" questions? Clearly you can leave the Mystery Hunt but it doesn't leave you...
